We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to lead our recently expanded Knowledge and Information team. In this role you will have responsibility for leading the development of our highly regarded information and resources, to support, and empower everyone affected by Crohn’s or Colitis.  This includes our evidence-based online and printed publications, web content, research summaries and other information, ensuring it is relevant, and accessible to all.

You will be driving new initiatives and developing tactical plans for the team which meet our strategic objectives.

You will be a member of the charity’s Management Development Forum, providing leadership across the organisation and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects.

You will be skilled in the translation of complex medical and health information into engaging and accessible patient information, and have experience of working with patients and healthcare professionals to develop information resources in line with recognised standards.

SSAFA’s Network & Community team, operating across the UK, are proud to announce this role as part of their strategic development plans.

This role will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. Line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

The Supporter Experience team at Shelter exists to provide expert stewardship to build deep long-term relationships, enhancing the supporter experience to drive income now and increase lifetime values. About the role

Proactive: there are many activities to get involved with at Shelter, so being proactive ensures you get as much from your role as possible. The Network Systems Manager maintains an overview of all DCS (Data Collection System) related activity and is responsible for ensuring that the development, maintenance and technical changes are conducted succinctly and delivered successfully in line with strategic goals across the entire organisation. 

Role responsibilities 

• To design and deliver a roadmap for the development of the Data Collection System, in line with the Trussell Trust’s strategic goals, and in collaboration with key stakeholders. 

• To manage the acquisition of DCS projects/changes, assessing value to different user groups using qualitative and quantitative analytical data to plan future support and development requirements of the system 

• Project management of large scale changes to the DCS and related systems, including the creation of project documentation, providing a consistent and accessible monitoring process for internal stakeholders. 

• To maintain and provide expert knowledge of the DCS across the organisation monitoring and reporting on key changes and development, user performance, stakeholder feedback and data requests.

• To work closely with the Network Services Manager in; providing a point of escalation for user and team technical support; offering support to project leads in the communicating of changes, development, testing and implementation of DCS-related activity. 

• Manage the day to day relationship with the system developers (Bit Zesty) to ensure support hours are appropriately used to maintain, update and fix bugs, and that all work (including projects) is delivered within budget and in a timely manner.

YMCA DownsLink Group’s WiSE (What is Sexual Exploitation) Project is an innovative, award winning project working across East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and Surrey, with children and young people experiencing or at risk of sexual exploitation; as well as raising awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and other forms of Child Criminal Exploitation.

We are looking for someone with the confidence to develop a new support offer for Surrey. This new post offers the opportunity to work in the WiSE team in Surrey in an exciting new role which has two strands to it; providing targeted early intervention peer group sessions to young people (up to 25 years,) who have been identified by their educational placement as being vulnerable too sexual or criminal exploitation. The role also entails working alongside Education and other agencies to prevent Violence Against Women and Girls by creating and facilitating training to teachers of the PSHE curriculum in both Primary and Secondary schools in Surrey. The successful applicant will be supported in the role through Reflective Supervision Practice, along with regular one-to-ones. 

This role will be based out of a Police Station in Surrey, which can be discussed at interview. There will be frequent travel and it is essential you hold a current driving license and have access to your own car.

The successful candidate will ideally have a qualification in Youth Work / Social Work or equivalent qualification; or equivalent comparable experience working directly with vulnerable young people. We are looking for someone with the confidence to work independently across Surrey and feel confident delivering educational work around topics such as healthy relationships, consent, sexual health, grooming etc to groups of young people in an education setting. You will need to feel confident in delivering training and consultancy support to other professionals around exploitation, as well as working with a multi-agency approach and skilled at developing relationships with other agencies. Being able to work autonomously, manage your time and workload while also working closely with the wider WiSE team is essential.

We are seeking a skilled Operations Administrator, providing general support across the organisation as a whole, but predominantly working with our Operations team and Co-CEOs to ensure that High Trees remains an effective organisation, able to make the most impact for our beneficiaries. This is a varied and rewarding role which will allow you to build your skills and understanding of how charities operate day-to-day as well as contribute to our governance and strategic ambitions. Your remit will include general office administration; including the admin needed to efficiently manage our offices and community buildings, ensuring our organisational policies and processes are routinely reviewed, updated and implemented; assisting with events; and supporting our governance processes.

You will also carry out the administrative HR functions for High Trees, inducting new staff, maintaining our records on our HR software, facilitating all staff to carry out our mandatory training and helping with the administration of our recruitment processes. The Head of Engagement will provide maternity cover for approximately 13 months and work as part of the Senior Leadership Team at SERT to drive how we influence, engage and empower people and communities to value and protect rivers in the South East.

Manage your own pipeline of prospective supporters actively identifying, cultivating and soliciting donations. 

 
The Candidate:
Substantial experience of fundraising with a strong track record in major gift fundraising. 
Experience of personally soliciting gifts of 5 and 6 figures from major donors. 
Experience of successfully managing the major donor process end to end. 
Experience of leading, managing or working with Mid-value programmes. 
Experience of strategic planning, budgetary control, and working to financial targets.
